CASARES – ESTEPONA

The stage will begin with a breakfast in a typical restaurant in Casares, a white town of narrow streets where the politician Blas Infante, promoter of the Andalusian autonomy, was born.

Next, we will go all over the most emblematic places in the town and we will visit the castle Castillo de Casares, which stands on a rough limestone massif in the highest part of town.

We will set a course for Estepona, a town integrated in the region of Costa del Sol. We will go for a walk in the streets and visit the church Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de los Remedios (eighteenth century), the Casa del Aljibe, which is now the Local Archaeological Museum, the clock tower, the remains of the castle Castillo de San Luis Castle and the Casa Tejerina, which hosts the exhibition “Garo collection”.

After eating lunch in a typical local restaurant, we will visit the prehistoric necropolis Corominas.
