VILLANUEVA DEL TRABUCO – VILLANUEVA DEL ROSARIO – ARCHIDONA

The visit will begin with a typical local breakfast in Villanueva del Trabuco, a town located at the base of the mountains Gorda and San Jorge. Next, we will go all over the town and visit the most emblematic places, such as the church Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de los Dolores or the square Plaza de España.

We will set a course for Villanueva del Rosario, a town placed in the hillside of the mountains Camarolos and Jobo. We will visit the old fountain Fuente Vieja, the Visigothic necropolises and the church Iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Rosario.

Our last destination will be Archidona, whose town centre is sheltered by the impressive hill Pico del Conjuro and the mountains Gracia and Grajas. You will be able to go for a walk in the old town, visit the square Plaza Ochavada, the convent Convento de las Mínimas, where it is possible to buy the traditional local candies, and the building Casa del Pósito, dated from the sixteenth century, whose original purpose was to keep the crops safe.

The lunch will take place in a typical local restaurant in Archidona, where the group will have some free time.
