Ardales – Estación del Chorro

The visit will begin with a breakfast in a typical local restaurant in Ardales, a town located near a crag and that was home to a medieval fortress. We will go for a walk through the old town and visit the prehistoric castle and a museum dedicated to the Prehistory of the area.

Next, we will set a course for the reservoir Embalse de Guadalhorce and the railway station of El Chorro, set at 244 meters of altitude, which works as a reception center for visitors to the Caminito del Rey, a walkway pinned along the steep walls of the narrow gorge Los Gaitanes.

Following the tour, we will eat lunch at the reservoir Embalse de Guadalhorce, where you will have some free time.
