Campillos – Embalse del Guadalhorce
Short and easy stage. Bus trip from Campillos to starting point. The stage covers various farming estates, a pine forest and the ruins of Cortijo del Chopo, with spectacular views of the Guadalhorce reservoir. It continues towards some troglodyte houses, taking a path to excavated ruins in La Arenisca. The path then follows the water source towards the Guadalhorce Reservoir and Guadalteba. The stage ends after completing Caminito del Rey.
Having completed the hiking route, participants will join the tour group.
Possibility of covering the route by bicycle (under review).
