VISIT 3 & 4
Torrox-Costa – Frigiliana – Nerja
The visit will begin at Torrox coast, known for having the best climate of Europe. We will visit the Roman site Faro de Torrox, where you will be able to see the remains of a Roman city and the lighthouse of Torrox, dated from 1864.
Next, we will have breakfast at Frigiliana and we will visit the village, which has been declared a Historic-Artistic Site. There, we will enjoy the old town, of Moorish heritage, and its winding, narrow and steep streets.
We will also visit Nerja Caves and we will go for a walk through the typical streets in this town until we get to Balcón de Europa, a viewpoint from which to enjoy an amazing view of the Mediterranean Sea. The lunch will take place in a typical local restaurant in Nerja.
Our last destination will be the tower Torre Almenara and the natural place Acantilados de Maro-Cerro Gordo, a 12-km wide narrow strip of high environmental value extending parallel to the coast. The group will have some free time in this area.
