Benalauría – Genalguacil (Serranía de Ronda – Valle del Genal)
The visit will begin with a breakfast in a local typical restaurant at Benalauría, a town located in the region of Serranía de Ronda made up of a maze of streets and side streets with steep slopes and white facades of Moorish origin. It is a mountain landscape of chestnuts, pines and cork oaks.
We will visit the old town, the interpretation center Casa de Moros y Cristianos, where a celebration is annually held to remember the struggles occurred during the reconquest of these lands, the old bread oven, the museum Museo Molino de Molienda and the organic olive grove Olivar Ecológico de Las Hacillas.
The lunch will take place in a typical local restaurant in the area.
Our last destination will be Genalguacil, a small town located in the heart of the region of Genal valley and whose urban area maintains the same old Moorish layout. We will also visit the Museum of Contemporary Art, where you will find displayed the creations that are not exhibited at the street during the art encounters.
